NCSW launched its documentary “Mukhtasar Kar Chaley Dard Ke Fasley” highlighting Commission achievements, challenges and strategies. The archiving of this journey will be a learning tool for provincial commissions and public at large. It will also give visibility and strength to the objectives and functions of NCSW.
Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment is illegal under section 509 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The film explains the crimes that fall under this category, the penalties for perpetrators, as well as complaint and grievance redressal mechanisms for victims of sexual harassment.

Rape
Rape is a crime under section 375 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The film explores the legal process and punishments for Rape in Pakistan. Rape cases are to be decided within a period of 3 months. Perpetrators can face up to 25 years in prison or even the death penalty.
