Mr. Mukhtar Ahmed joined his duties as Director Finance (BPS-19) in National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW), Ministry of Human Rights, Islamabad wef 4th November, 2016. Prior to joining NCSW he worked in State Engineering Corporation, Ministry of Industries and Production, Islamabad from May, 1990 to October, 2016.

In a career of over 30 years, cross-functional expertise has been developed. The experience spread is general and diverse which encompasses accounting, financial management, fund management, audit compliance, secretariat, technical, Admin/HR matters and project development. 

Mr. Mukhtar has also attended courses/seminars i.e. Computer Database Programming using MS Access and Visual Basic, organized by National Training Bureau, Ministry of Labor and Manpower Overseas Pakistanis. Seminar on Development and Applications of Information Technology Prospects and Problems organized jointly by Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) and Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Islamabad.
