Sindh Women Lawyers Alliance, NCSW Chairperson Discuss Strengthening Legal Response to Violence Against Women

The General Secretary of Sindh Women Lawyers Alliance, Advocate Rubina Chandio, held a telephonic conversation with the Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women, Islamabad, Ms. Noureen Lehri. During the conversation, Advocate Rubina Chandio congratulated Noureen Bano Lehri on her appointment as Chairperson and extended her best wishes. They also discussed recently reported cases in Sindh, particularly concerning violence against women and broader human rights issues.

Both sides emphasized the need to strengthen institutional collaboration, ensure access to legal support, and enhance efforts for the protection of women’s rights.
