NCSW Partners with National Incubation Center to Empower Women through Digitalization!

As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) under the leadership of Interim Chairperson Ume-Laila Azhar is proud to announce its partnership with the National Incubation Center (NIC) to empower women through digitalization!

This initiative aims to support women home-based workers, survivors of GBV, and women with disabilities by providing innovative digital solutions and linking women entrepreneurs with the right skills for sustainable growth and empowerment.

Key objectives of this partnership include:

Raising Awareness: Regular sessions at NIC will ensure startups integrate gender-sensitive policies from the outset.

Fostering Entrepreneurship: Special programs will drive techno-entrepreneurship initiatives under NCSW’s Digitalization Strategy.

Ending GBV through Economic Empowerment: Digital platforms will be utilized to create opportunities for women to rebuild their lives and thrive independently.

This partnership reinforces the global theme of “UNITE! Call to Action to End Violence Against Women” by addressing the digital gender gap and building safer, more equitable digital spaces.
