National Commission on the Status of Women, Islamabad is committed to empowering marginalized communities and promoting social justice. In line with this vision, our Member from Punjab, Dr. Ayra Indrias Patras, led a delegation from Community World Service to discuss potential collaboration and strategies for empowering marginalized communities.

Interim Chairperson Ume-Laila Azhar welcomed the delegation and reiterated NCSW's commitment to supporting marginalized communities. A key area of discussion was the need for amendments to the Christian Divorce Law. Interim Chairperson Ume Laila Azhar assured the delegation of NCSW's full support, including technical input and advocacy, to work on the proposed amendments.
