On the occasion of the #16DaysOfActivism against Gender-Based Violence, Interim Chairperson Ume-Laila Azhar participated in the "Pathways to Equality" event organized by the Ministry of Human Rights in collaboration with UN partners.

Addressing the gathering, She emphasized that protecting #women and girls is not just a responsibility, but a necessity for building a just and equitable society.

We, the stakeholders, need to reaffirm our commitment towards ending #genderbasedviolence. It is only through collective action and a shared vision that we can create a society where women and girls can live without fear of violence and discrimination.
