Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (RCCI)- 4th January 2022

Ms. Nilofar Bakhtiar, Chairperson National Commission on the Status of Women, (NCSW) was invited as Chief Guest by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce (RCCI) for their event on Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) on 4^th Jan 2022. The Chairperson was warmly welcomed by the President Mr. Nadeem Rauf and other officials. Group Leader Mr. Sohail Altaf, Senior Vice President Mr. Asim Malik, Vice President Mr. Talat Awan, Former Members of Lions Club including President Dr. Hassan Saroush, Malik Shahid Saleem, Nasir Mirza, Executive Members and Women Members were also present in the event. On the occasion, President Mr. Nadeem Rauf gave a detailed briefing to the Chairperson on the ongoing activities of the Chamber and future programs.

Later, the Chairperson said that every possible effort would be made for the empowerment and protection of women in collaboration with the Rawalpindi Chamber. She further added t that joint programs and initiatives would be launched to ensure women's rights through monitoring women's legal, social and economic rights. The Chair commended the efforts of Rawalpindi Chamber's on women empowerment in Punjab.
