Chairperson NCSW visited multiple camps in interior Sindh last week to talk to the women and children affected by the recent floods. Meetings with the administrations of various districts were also held to urge them to introduce the imperative gender aspect into the flood relief efforts & SOPs in the respective camps, hospitals & rescue operations.

NCSW in collaboration with UN Women and Egyptian embassy, conducted a round table Interactive dialogue on Financial Inclusion of Women. Amongst many others, Presidents of the women Chamber of Commerce and Industries from various cities, Country-Head UN Women, President IFWA and spouses of the Ambassador of Italy, Czech Republic, and Egypt were present. NCSW suggested changes in chamber policies to ensure gender parity among staff and to make membership of chambers easier to increase participation of women.
