The National Commission on Status of Women (NCSW) in collaboration with the Centre for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), orgaizned an event on the 25th of November 2021 to launch the National Media Fellowship on violence against women and child marriage. This event marked the start of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
On the 10th of December 2021, the National Commission on the Status of Women and the Ehsaas Programme organised an event at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad.

The National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) co-hosted the event as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
Cycling Sunday is a monthly event that takes place in Islamabad on the first Sunday of each month. On December 5, 2021, the National Commission on the Status of Women organised a walking, running, and cycling event in collaboration with Bardasht, Urban Innovation, ICT Administration, Islamabad Cycling Association, Islamabad Traffic Police, Tiger's Force, Graana, and the European Union to commemorate 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence.

The National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) is a statutory body established in July 2000. It is an outcome of the national and international commitments of the Government of Pakistan like Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, 1995; and National Plan of Action (NPA) for Women, 1998.
